if the products are in plastic, the company makes efforts to offset their plastic use (ex: Certified plastic neutral, member of 1% for the Planet, offers refills, certified B Corp, etc)
made/shipped as close to California as possible
5% of all retail sales are donated to our neighbors at Berkeley Youth Alternatives, an organization that provides a nurturing environment for the children, youth, and young adults in Berkeley.
Unopened, unused products may be returned for a refund or exchanged for store credit within 30 days. Opened products may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days.
Oway
All organic ingredients, grown on a biodynamic farm in Italy. Products come in glass and aluminum. Vegan and cruelty free, 100% from renewable sources. Refills available for hair baths and some conditioners in the salon.
Hairstory
Headquartered in NY, produced in Canada. Known for its "anti-shampoo" movement, particularly its detergent-free cleanser, New Wash, and focuses on sustainable, clean beauty products. Refills available to purchase online.
Cult+King
Founded and based in Park City, Utah, comes in glass and aluminum packaging, “All of our decisions are based around three things; defending the planet, supporting independent salons and barbershops, and making people look rad without poisoning them in the process.” Refills available to purchase online.
Highland
Born in Colorado, made in Los Angeles, comes in aluminum packaging, is sustainable, health conscious, vegan, and organic. All products focus on scalp and hair health.
Innersense
Hailing from Concord, CA, ethically sourced and sustainable ingredients, many of them organic, active with environmental, social and industrial impacts. Refills available to purchase online.
